Why Seedance 2.0
These are the controls and limits connected to the current product configuration—not borrowed promises from another provider or model release.
Use text-to-video for an open scene, upload a start frame (plus an optional end frame) to animate a still, or attach up to 9 reference images tagged in the prompt.
Describe what moves, how the camera behaves, the pacing, and what should stay stable. Seedance 2.0 follows camera language and keeps characters consistent across cuts.
Choose 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9, or adaptive framing with 480p, 720p, 1080p, or 4K output.
Seedance 2.0 for final quality up to 4K, 2.0 Fast for quick 480p/720p drafts, 2.0 Mini for the lowest cost per second — same prompt, same references.
How it works
The landing page handles the starting context. Create exposes the full model controls before anything is submitted.
Write the scene from scratch, upload a clear start frame, or attach reference images and give each one a role (@Image1 = character, @Image2 = scene).
Call out subject movement, camera direction, speed, lighting changes, mood, and — with audio on — dialogue in quotes plus ambience and effects.
Open Create to set duration, resolution, aspect ratio, and audio before generating. The credit cost updates as you change them.
Best uses
Choose the model around the deliverable, not the novelty of the name. These are the tasks that fit its current inputs and controls.
Turn a clean product still into a short reveal, rotation, or atmosphere-led campaign shot with synced sound.
Create vertical or square clips for feeds, Reels, Shorts, and other short-form placements.
Test camera movement, multi-shot rhythm, and a key moment before a longer production.
Animate a character or environment across connected shots with a prompt that focuses on action, cinematography, and dialogue.
Compare models
Use the lighter image model for speed, Pro for resolution and references, and Seedance when the final deliverable needs motion.
